Open-sided houses on east-west axis ensure adequate natural airflow. Clean and disinfect 1-2 weeks before chick arrival.

Use highly absorbent litter 5-7cm thick. Place 48 hours before chicks arrive to prevent ingestion and ensure comfort.

Source disease-free chicks from reliable hatcheries. Initial weight must be over 42 grams. Check for strength and health.

Critical for feed intake throughout the cycle. Proper brooding temperature in first week determines future growth performance.

Essential to reduce heat stress, remove humidity, and disperse ammonia and CO₂. Poor ventilation causes disease and mortality.

Randomly select and weigh birds weekly to monitor flock performance. Track against target weights for each phase.

Correct feeder height is paramount to reduce spillage and ensure all birds have equal access to feed.

Provide adequate floor space, feeder, and drinker access. Prevent overcrowding to reduce stress and maintain optimal health.

Gradual transition critical at day 11 (starter to grower) and day 24 (grower to finisher). 3-day gradual mixing protocol.

Clean drinking water is essential for good broiler performance. Critical nutrient that must always be available.

Follow vaccination program recommended by hatchery. Combined with adequate ventilation ensures optimum growth.

After selling birds, rest the house and disinfect before starting new production cycle. Prevents disease carryover.
